I remember watching a tv series in the 1980's about a vampire living
in seclusion in a mansion/castle - He had a butler or helper of some
kind - there was a woman in the story that he fell in love with but
she didn't know he was a vampire - the woman became ill and somehow
she switched bodies/places with another woman living in the 17th or
18th century - the woman met her 'boyfriend' who lived at that time
before he became a vampire - the show ended with her waking up and
looking at the vampire knowing who he was - I was young - preteen to
teenager at this time and I don't remember anymore details - I have
googled, wikipedia, checked tv listings on the web - I know I wasn't
the only one to watch this show! It only ran for 1 or 2 seasons. Can
anyone help me? I have watched trailers to Dark Shadows remake and
Forever Knight and it isn't those - it's also not Moonlight or Kindred
- this was old school filming - I don't think it was the 70's - I was
born mid 70's and I wouldn't have remembered a show in this much
detail. I believe it was mid to late 80's. Any help would be great!
