Mesa hires managing directors

Investment bank Mesa Global has hired former Media Rights Capital exec Marni Wieshofer and banking vet Roddy Moon as managing directors. Both will provide merger and acquisition advisory and capital-raising services to Mesa clients. Moon will work out of the company's NY offices while Wieshofer will serve in a soon-to-be-opened Los Angeles location. At MRC, Wieshofer served as senior VP of corporate development and M&As and chief financial officer. She oversaw deals including the company's $340 million JPMorgan-led revolving credit facility, which closed in 2008 and was renewed this year. Prior to joining MRC, she served as CFO at Lionsgate before becoming the company's exec VP of corporate development. Prior to joining Mesa, Moon led the digital media and internet practice at global investment bank Jefferies and Co., which served clients including Bankrate, Collective, e-Rewards and Yahoo. Before Jefferies, he served as VP at Allen and Co. Led by founding partners Jerome Levy, Mark Patricof and Brian Richards, Mesa has advised on more than $2.5 billion in transactions since its founding in 2003.
