R.I.P. Filmmaker Ken Russell

Maverick British director Ken Russell died within the sleep Sunday at 84. Russell’s questionable films incorporated the Oliver Reed-Vanessa Redgrave-starrer The Devils, Women for one another, and Tommy, the screen version in the Who’s rock opera Tommy. Inside the U.S., he directed the psychedelic Transformed States, but his collaboration with equally strong willed film author Paddy Chayevsky haunted that film, as well as the failure of his next film, Crimes of Passion, sent him towards the Uk. There, he ongoing making films, all the which was November the Louse of Usher.
